单元教学目标

本单元要求学生掌握2个动物单词deergiraffe6个形容词tallshortbigsmalllongshort 并且学习几个句型用上这几个形容词来描述动物:Look at … It has … It’s so …

5个单元基本已学会了26个字母,本单元要求进一步巩固、练习这些字母。

 

第一课时

一、     教学内容。

1Let’s learn 部分要求学习四个形容词big small long short

2Let’s do 要求学生听清形容词,并根据指令做出相应动作。

二、教学目标

要求学生能够听说认读,用手势表示这几个形容词。

三、教学重、难点

能用这几个形容词描述身边事物a long ruler  a tall boy  a big book …

四、教学准备

磁带、录音机、多媒体课件或VCD、单词卡片、电视天线、气球、彩色橡皮筋若干

五、     教学过程

Step 1 :Organization of class

AHelp the Ss sing the song Old MacDonald .

BGreet with the Ss.

Step 2:Revision and preparation

A、在黑板上写下zoo,然后让学生回忆学过的动物单词。

B、教师播放三(上)P41 Let’s do 音乐,让学生扮演动物。

C、学生认读P61中的4种动物:elephant mouse monkey and rabbit

Step 3: Study and practise

A、学习第一组单词 big small

a.出示单词卡片,让学生观察大象和老鼠,然后教师描述2种动物:

The elephant is big. The mouse is small. 并用手势表示这两种形容词。

b.教师说形容词,同学做动作。

c.教师做动作,学生说形容词,练习可由慢到快,分组竞赛。

d.教师拿出准备好的一大一小两本书,让学生来描述:

        a big book  a small book

e.让学生观察教室中的东西大小,并描述出来,分组竞赛,说一个得一分。

 a big window  a small window  a big door  a small box

B、学习另一组形容词longshort用同种方法

用一长一短两把尺子让学生练习,尽可能多地让学生描述身边事物的长短,小组竞赛,每说一个得一分。

 a long pencil  a short eraser …

Step 4: Let’s do

A.教师边伸缩电视天线边说:Long Long Long, make it  long ;Short Short Short ,make it short .

教师将气球吹气、放气,说Big Big Big , make it big ;Small Small Small, make it small

B.教师给学生发一些彩色橡皮筋,让学生用它表示出:long short big small 并边做边说:Long Long Long make it long ; Small Small Small, make it small …

C.  教师播放Let’s do 课件,让学生听一听,看一看;然后再放,让学生边看边做;再听录音,边听边做;最后小组竞赛。

Step 4: Sum up

A、           回忆所学的4个形容词

B、           评出最优秀的小组

 

 

第二课时

一、教学内容

1Let’s talk

2Let’s practice

二、教学目标

学习新句型Look at the elephant.  It has a long nose and a short tail .

三、教学重、难点

要求学生能熟练运用句型描述动物:It has a long nose and a short tail.``````

四、教学准备

录音机、磁带、教学课件、玩具小狗和小兔、小猴和小猫的动物面具

五、教学过程

Step 1:Organization.

ASing the song Hide and seek .

BGreet with the Ss.

Step 2:Revision.

A、教师扮演动物,学生说单词

B、出示long short big small的单词卡片,让学生描述:A big elephant...

C、播放Let’s  do ,让学生边听边做

Step 3:Presentation and study.

A、教师出示漂亮的卡通小兔图片,贴在黑板上,并指着说:Look at the rabbit. 让学生反复跟读几次。然后,教师扮演不同的动物,引导学生说Look at the dog/ giraffe …

B、教师指着小兔子的身体部位复习:eye nose mouth ear and tail.越指越快,让学生越说越快。

C、引导学生描述小兔子:

1ear—long ear  tail—short tail  long ear and short tail

2It has long ears and a short tail.

    3Look at the rabbit. It has long ears and a short tail.

出示一只小狗的身体部位,分组描述,对一句得一分。

D、出示Let’s talk 课件,让学生边看边听,再放课件,让学生跟读、模仿,再分组朗读。

Step 4: Let’s practse.

A、教师戴上小猴面具,介绍:I have big eyes and a long tail.然后让学生帮老师介绍。

B、一组发一个动物面具,以组为单位描述动物:I have…然后上台戴着面具描述,说一句计一分。

Step 5:Sum up

评出最优秀小组

 

第三课时

一、教学内容:
1
Let’s say   2Let’s chant

二、教学目标

Let’s say 通过复习大写字母,学习中国、加拿大、英国、美国的国名缩写,并识别四国国旗。

Let’s chant通过歌谣让学生了解以上4国国名的简称或全称。

三、教学重点

熟练认读26个大写字母

四、教学准备

126个大写字母卡A---Z

2、中、加、英、美4国国旗

3、玩具长颈鹿、梅花鹿

五、教学过程

Step1: Organization of class.

A. Sing the English songABC.

B.  Greet with the Ss.

Step2: Revision.

A. Show the toys of the giraffe and the deer. Let a few pairs of Ss act the story of P63.

B. Let a few Ss describe their toy animals individual.

Step3: Presentation and practise.

A.  Show the cards of 26 letters and let the Ss read them one by one.

B.  T shows the cards and let them read in groups. We can practise more and more quickly.

C.  T let the Ss read the letters individual.  Then give the cards to the Ss who read it quickly.

 T say some letters and let the Ss who hold them to stand up .

 T:  PRC  CAN  UK  USA 
Then pin the wordss on the Bb.  Let the Ss read by themselves and in groups.

D. Show the four flags of the countries and let some Ss pin them under the right words. Help them understand the meanings.

E. Explain “ the People’s Republic of Chain” and “the Untied Stated of American”.

Step4: Let’s chant.

A. Play the VCD, let the Ss watch and say.

B. Help them read together. Then practise in groups.

C. We can practise in boys and girls.

Step5: Sum up.

评出优秀小组和优秀学生。

 

 

第四课时

一、教学内容

1、Let’s learn: tall short giraffe and deer

2、Let’s sing They are in the zoo

3Story time

二、教学目标

1、让学生能够听、说、认读这几个单词,并用手势表示出来。

2、让学生能够演唱歌曲《They are in the zoo》,同时复习和巩固有关动物的词汇。

3Story time拓展学生的知识,让学生知道猩猩和猴子的区别。

三、教学重、难点

能熟练掌握运用这几个单词tall short giraffe deer

四、教学准备

录音机、磁带、教学课件、单词卡片、玩具长颈鹿、梅花鹿

五、教学过程

Step 1:Organization.

ASing the song AC

BGreet with the Ss

Step 2:Revision

A. Review the letters.

1. Recite the letters all together. Then have a competition in reciting in groups

2. T shows the cards of letters. Let the Ss read more and more quickly.

3. Play a game: find the neighbors.

eg.:   T: P   S1: O   S2: Q

B. Review “Let’s do” .

Listen to the tape and do.

Let them do by themselves.

Step3. Presentation and  study.

A. Review and study the words of animals.

1. T acts like some animals (cat dog monkey rabbit elephant and bird etc…) and let the Ss say these words more and more quickly.
2. T speaks in Chinese. Let the Ss cat like these animals and speak in English.

3. Show the cards of mew words: giraffe and deer. Then let the Ss act like the two animals.

4. T acts like the two animals.  Let the Ss say the two words.

5.T speaks in Chinese.  Let the Ss speak in English.

B. Revision and study.

1. T shows the cards  “small big long and short ”

Let the Ss describe the animals: The elephant is big. The mouse is small…

2. 教师做动作,学生说形容词。

然后教师轻声说,学生大声说。

3. Show the toys of “giraffe and deer”. Help the Ss try to say “The giraffe is tall. The deer is short.”

4. T and the Ss compare the height to practice using tall and short.

Let the Ss practice comparing tall and short in pairs.

Step 4. Practise.

1. T does the actions and let the Ss say the words.

2. Describe the animals with the adj. Words.

e.g. : The giraffe is tall. The elephant is big.

3. 说反义词

eg. T: big   Ss: small 

Then practice in pairs

Step 5: Let’s sing.

A. Play the tape. Let the Ss listen at first.

B. Sing with the tape

Step 6: Story time.

ALet the Ss look at the pictures and guess what happened.

B. Play the VCD and let the Ss try to understand the story.

C. Explian the words “gorilla and monkey”.

Step7: Sum up.

 

第五课时

一、       教学内容。

1.Let’s talk.  2. Let’s practise.  3. Let’s check.

二、       教学目标

Let’s talk能够熟练读出本部分对话,并分角色朗读。

Let’s practise能够运用这部分的语言描述自己的玩具。

三、       教学重难点。

熟练掌握重点句子: Yeah.  You’re right.

四.教学准备。

磁带、录音机、教学课件或VCD、小兔贴画、玩具长颈鹿、梅花鹿

五、教学过程。

Step1: Organization of class.

A. Sing the English songThey are in the zoo.

BGreet with the Ss.

Step2: Revision.

A. Review the six words: big malllongshorttall and short.

1.T does some actions, let the Ss say the words.

2.T says the words, let the Ss say the opposite words.

A. Play the tape, let the Ss do the part  “ Let’s do”

Step3: Presentation and practise.

A.T pins the picture of rabbit on the Bb and let the Ss describe it.

T: I have a rabbit. It has long ears and a short tail.

  It has big eyes and small mouse.……

B. Let the Ss take out their animal toys and try to describe the toys in groups.

Then we can have a competetion in groups to describe.

Step4: Let’s talk.

A.T shows the toys of giraffe and deer to the Ss at first. Then make a scene of  “Let’s talk”.

T: Look at the giraffe.    Ss: It’s SO tall.   T: Yeah.

T: Look at the deer.      Ss: It’s short.     T: You’re  right.

B. Play the VCD and let the Ss watch and read.

C. Read the dialogue in groups then read in roles.

Step5: Let’s check.

A. Let the Ss watch the four pictures at first.

B. Play the tape and let the Ss try to chose the answer.

C. Play the tape again and check the answer.

Step6: Sum up.

 

第六课时

一、教学内容

1.Let’s say      2. Let’s chant      3.Culturt

二、教学目标

Let’s say :要求熟练掌握这几个英语缩写A.M. (a.m.)  P.M.(p.m.).  CD  TV  VCD

Let’s chant: 帮助学生用歌谣这种形式将字母背下来

Culture: 引导学生识别日常生活中常见的指示牌 ENTRANCE  EXIT  PULL PUSH WOMENS  MENS

三.教学重点

让学生熟练认读26个字母的大小写

四.教学准备

字母卡片、录音机、磁带

五、教学过程

Step1: Organization of class.

A. Sing the English songThey are in the zoo.

B. Greet with the Ss.

Step2: Revision.

A. Show the 26 letters to the Ss.

B. Let them read one by one.

A.                                                                CPlay games and have a competetion.

a. Bingo game. 

Ss write nine letters in a square at first.  Then T says some letters.  When the Ss find the nine letters all be read by the T, she or he is the winner.

b. Order the letters.

Give some letters to each group. Then let them order them quickly.

eg. L N M       LMN

B.                       C. Play the tape of the chant, let the Ss read after the tape.

C.                       Then have a competition in saying the chant.

Step3: Presentation and practise.

A. Let the Ss look and say these words: PRC CAN UK USA.

B.Show the new words to the Ss and help them to study.

A.M. (a..m..)  P.M.(p.m.).  CD  TV  VCD

C. T shows some more words to read and say.

CCTV CD UFO EQ IQ NBA WTO IBM ATM

D.Let’s chant.

Play the tape, let the Ss read the tape. Then read in groups and have a competetion.

Step4: Sum up.

评出优秀小组。
